Next best: blame Greg Abbott and Ken Paxton. They’re about due for the moron to throw them under the bus. And they both deserve it for many malfeasances if not this one.

I was honestly stunned when he tried, albeit briefly, to lay the blame at Biden's feet. Seriously??

Oh, and here's another one:

"The deadly flooding in Texas that took at least 80 people, including children, may have been avoided if the state legislature hadn’t killed a bill for an emergency siren alert system because it was too expensive.

House Bill 13, which would have established a state council to implement an emergency response plan and run a first-responder grant program, was struck down in the state Senate earlier this year. H.B. 13 would have helped create “the use of outdoor warning sirens,” like “emergency alert systems.” Some Texas lawmakers have since expressed deep regret for voting against the legislation, while others lamented that the effects of the bill, particularly the warning sirens, would not have kicked in in time to save lives given how fast the floodwaters rose."

I was waiting for Trump, when asked to comment on the tragedy in Texas to say, “l know nothing about that.”

When all else fails, at least he has his trusty Sharpie to enable him to twist reality and keep him from ever having to accept any responsibility.

You don't need a weatherman to know which way Trump's smoke blows. Straight up the backsides of his cult via FOX.

Message from Poteet, fairly close to the flood disaster.

"Local leaders have talked for years about the need for a warning system. Kerr County sought a nearly $1 million grant eight years ago for such a system, but the request was turned down by the Federal Emergency Management Agency. Local residents balked at footing the bill themselves, Kelly said.

Some camps were aware of the dangers Friday and monitored the weather. At least one moved several hundred campers to higher ground before the floods. But many people didn’t move or were caught by surprise."

Yes, blame President Biden. That is all trump can think of to say. I hope that American citizens, including Texans, will put the blame squarely on trump and DOGE as well as Trump’s entire administration. If something is not done soon, there will be hundreds more deaths because of Trump’s cutbacks on safety and emergency preparedness, not to mention healthcare. Great cartoon, Jack!
