Excellent. Your column and cartoon really get to the heart of the matter.

This year's "celebration" feels like one giant irony, carried out at our expense (literally).

Great read- now we need to put those convictions into action. Let’s hope next Fourth of July we have more to celebrate🇺🇸⭐️✨

I was watching ships of all sizes and nationalities going past Liberty Island where I was with hundreds of others on July 4th, 1976. The entire day was a celebration of our democracy, even with its faults, from the east coast to the west coast and every place in between. And as I said, other countries were celebrating with us. My 25-yr-old self was wondering if I'd be around for the 250th July 4th. God willing, I will be alive, hugging my furgirl Nomi, possibly from MN where my sister and her family live. But I fear that I won't be celebrating unless R Americans and the courts find the courage and spines to remember what the Founding Fathers (and Mothers) risked their lives and fortunes for, and stop King POS and his traitorous ilk in the Cabinet.

I want to get to the part where we kick the bums out for good!

I will not be celebrating this year.

"All men are created equal," (except those men we have enslaved.)

Was that a giant blind spot or just an intentional untruth?

And they even invoke the Good Lord in this immaculate deception.
