Aww...this made me tear up!

Sweet and sad, both.

I cannot find the words...😢

He lived to see the attempts to erase the history of slavery, the elevation. of (perceived) white victimhood, the disregard for black history. The dismantling of DEI wasn't necessarily a bad thing, but accusing blacks in high places of being DEI hires was the repudiation of their accomplishments. The question posed almost seems like sarcasm.

That said, I think so much progress has been made in this country in minority rights that the dream is still within reach. And we, the people, have the means to reach it. Trump won't be around forever. Let's do it!

Now that I've stopped crying...

This image hit me hard, but that's what it's supposed to do. Your cartoons usually lift me up, but this one hit me in the gut. It's perfect. Great leaders, both of them. RIP, Jesse. 💓

Sometimes a picture is worth more than 1,000 words. This is one of those times. Thank you.

I remember thinking here in Canada, "thanks for this Jesse Jackson guy, since Rev. Al Sharpton seemed to me like an ambulance chaser for racism". Yes, Jesse was well-respected here in Canada as well!
