Love this. That’s how I feel about ol’ Dick Cheney too—there must have been some good in him after all. Also, he even endorsed Kamala.

I really like this cartoon. It represents to me that anyone can redeem themselves given time and effort. Former Vice President Cheney did endorse Kamala. He saw the light. Also, Liz Cheney is his daughter. He helped raise her and she is a very good person.

St. Peter flipping a coin? Dear God, what is Heaven coming to? And is that angel in the background consulting a magic 8 ball? That's gotta be one Hell of a decision!

I'll see myself out now...

As a Catholic, I say that St. Peter would give him a token stint in purgatory. :-)

Sorry, maybe he was redeemed and I should be more charitable, but being slightly less venal and evil than Trump shouldn't necessarily get you a pass at the pearly gates. If I was Peter I'd tell him to take the broken gold escalator down.

My judgement question would be: Did you have any hand in writing the Patriot Act and the inclusion of I.C.E. ?

Heads or tails, either way, this vignette from Matt Labash is well worth a read: https://mattlabash.substack.com/p/fly-fishing-with-darth-vader

Before Don the Con became my most abhorred person, there was Dick Cheney.

Reading his Bio/Obituary in the New York Times today it is easy to see how Cheney cleared the way and set the stage for Trump's current abuse of Presidential Powers...much to his horror but much more horrible for us.

Okay, you get a pass. Not up there, but down here with me.
